Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a PACU position at a rural community hospital in Price, UT, requiring at least 1-2 years of PACU experience and AHA certifications.

Details

• Located within a 39-bed rural community hospital serving Carbon and Emery counties with both inpatient and outpatient services
• PACU unit with 5 beds and a 1:1 patient ratio
• Diverse patient population across the board; no cardiac or neuro cases
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Call required approximately 8–10 days per month
• Call coverage required on weekends (call weekends only)
• EMR: Medhost
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active UT or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS — all must be AHA-issued
• Minimum 1-2 years of PACU RN experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Facility holds a Gold Seal of Approval® from The Joint Commission and is recognized as an Accredited Chest Pain Center and Stroke-designated facility
• Scrubs are supplied by the unit and must be worn
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
