1st Shift Packager, Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Packagers receive finished parts and visually inspect them for major defaults or nonconformities. Parts are then marked per planner or customer specifications and are passed to Quality for inspection. Once approved, the Packager packs the part(s) according to specifications and ensures that packaging meets inspector approval. The parts are then set aside for shipping. • Prepare and perform packaging as required by customer and in-house specifications. (bags, bubble wrap, foam, etc.) • Complete proper documentation for each manufactured part. • Identify and package completed parts, per customer specifications. • Mark all parts prior to final inspection. • Receive approval from an inspector prior to shipping the parts. • File paperwork in appropriate places.

Work Qualifications: • Formal education: No specific educational requirements. • Experience: No specific experience required. • Computer Skills: Must be able to use common office software systems, computer operations relative to data entry and ERP system. • Certificates and Licenses: Royal forklift certification required. Professional Competencies: • Attention to detail. • Strong work ethic. • Goal oriented to finish tasks to meet shipping schedule.
