Position Travel Nurse RN PCU – Progressive Care Unit Location Indianapolis, Indiana Employment Details Specialty: PCU – Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Total Weekly Hours: 36 Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Compensation: Pay based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week; includes wages, meal and lodging per diems. Job Description Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a PCU/Stepdown RN to work in Indianapolis, Indiana. The assignment lasts 13.14 weeks and starts on July 13, 2026. Applicants should be comfortable with a variety of duties typical of a progressive care unit, including post‑catheterization care, cardiac telemetry, central line management, and surgical drain care. Qualifications Required Experience: Trauma Level I experience Minimum 2 years of nursing experience Cardiac PCU: drips, post‑ cath lab, IV starts, sheath pulls BCLS certification; ACLS preferred Preferred Experience: Conscious sedation Telemetry experience Cerner knowledge (charting system) Floating Requirements: May be expected to float to Med‑Surg, PCU, or ICU units. Leadership Experience: Previous charge nurse experience. Travel Experience: First‑time travelers accepted; must have license in hand before start date. Additional Requirements: Flexible with weekend requirements – may work up to 50% of weekends. Two supervisor references required. Ability to precept students or shadow as needed. Vaccination: Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemption); COVID‑19 vaccine not required.
