Class A CDL Driver

The Class A CDL Driver is responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers and other heavy commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations while complying with all federal, state, and company regulations. Responsibilities Operate Class A commercial vehicles (tractor-trailers) safely and efficiently Comply with regulations set by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Follow all guidelines established by the United States Department of Transportation Perform pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate logs and required documentation (ELDs, bills of lading, delivery receipts) Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage Communicate with dispatch regarding routes and delivery status Report accidents, delays, or mechanical issues immediately Adhere to company safety policies and procedures Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Current DOT Medical Card Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Ability to pass DOT drug and alcohol screening Minimum 1-2 years of tractor-trailer experience (preferred) Knowledge of Hours of Service (HOS) regulations Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods Frequent climbing in and out of tractor-trailer Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs Ability to secure loads using straps, chains, or binders Benefits Health, dental and vision insurance Requisition #cmmci4e2daun80jlct518kw67 #J-18808-Ljbffr
