About the Role: Plugz Electric is looking for a detail-oriented Permit Coordinator to join our growing team in Forest Lake, MN! In this role, you’ll play a vital part in keeping our electrical projects moving forward by managing the permitting process from start to finish. Responsibilities: Prepare, submit, and track electrical permit applications with local municipalities and jurisdictions Coordinate with project managers, electricians, and inspectors to ensure timely permit approvals Maintain accurate records of permit statuses, approvals, and inspection schedules Communicate with city and county building departments to resolve permit issues or delays Schedule and confirm inspections with local authorities and field crews Ensure all permit documentation is compliant with local, state, and NEC codes Manage multiple active permits simultaneously across various project sites Requirements: Prior experience in permit coordination, construction administration, or a related field preferred Familiarity with electrical or construction permitting processes is a strong plus Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with municipalities and internal teams Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or project management software High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping Ability to work independently and proactively problem-solve permit-related challenges About Us: Plugz Electric is a trusted electrical contractor serving the Forest Lake, MN area and surrounding communities, delivering high-quality residential and commercial electrical services.
