The Role

We are hiring a Senior Technical Recruiter to join Overjet's stellar talent team and help scale our high-growth organization. At Overjet, recruiters are more than talent partnersthey are builders, owners, and strategic thought partners who push the boundaries of what recruiting can be and drive it forward with velocity.

We're looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, solves problems with creativity and speed, and applies critical thinking and analytical rigor to uncover root causes and drive better hiring decisions. You'll have the autonomy to experiment, move with velocity, and drive recruiting excellenceensuring that every hire raises the bar and fuels Overjet's growth. You'll also be expected to meaningfully leverage AI as a force multiplier, building workflows that let you and the team operate far beyond what any individual recruiter could do alone.

Responsibilities

• Own full-lifecycle recruiting across multiple technical roles with a bias for velocity and a drive to hire bar-raising talent.
• Apply analytical problem-solving to identify bottlenecks, uncover root causes, and design solutions that rapidly improve recruiting outcomes in partnership with hiring managers.
• Wield AI agents and AI-driven sourcing to level up recruiting processes and significantly amplify your own output and the team's.
• Use market insights and candidate signals to influence hiring decisions, leveling, and compensation strategy.
• Deliver a world-class candidate experience, serving as a trusted advisor through evaluation and closing so every candidate leaves impressed with Overjet, regardless of outcome.
• Ensure operational excellence in Ashby (ATS) and across systems and processes, hitting and improving key recruiting KPIs (e.g., time-to-fill under 60 days for technical roles).

Qualifications

• 5+ years recruiting top-tier Bay Area technical talent in hyper-growth environments, with a proven track record hiring senior, staff, and director-level roles across engineering, data, AI/ML, and product.
• Track record of meaningfully leveraging AI tools and data to source, assess, engage, and hire top-tier candidates.
• Creative and resourcefulbrings fresh, unconventional approaches to hard-to-fill roles where the standard playbook falls short.
• Demonstrated strength in critical thinking and root cause analysis, with the ability to turn insights into solutions.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills; trusted by candidates and business partners alike.
• Comfort with our recruiting tech stack (Ashby, Juicebox, etc.) or the ability to ramp on new tools with velocity.
• Thrives in fast-paced, mission-driven environments where ownership and excellence are expected.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Our Hybrid Workplace

We have a unique hybrid workplace at Overjet which combines the teamwork of meeting in person, with the flexibility of working from anywhere.

Many of our positions are based in San Mateo, New York City, Boston, and Salt Lake City. The Jetters who live in these "geo-hubs" come to the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, while having the option to work from home the rest of the week.
