Office Hours Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Jailer Type: Full Time Posted Date: 04/14/2026 Our Jailers provide jail security through care, custody, and control of inmates; they prepare paperwork, forms, booking information, and reports; and they maintain public security and confidence in dealing with the public either in person or by phone. Full-time positions include the following: 12 hour shifts which allow for more time off of work Every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off Starting wage of $26.63 hourly Qualifications: No felony convictions, good verbal and written communications, ability to react quickly and effectively to stressful situations, ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
