WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR TRUE™ is looking for a Social Media & Community Manager, someone equal parts storyteller and strategist, to shape and grow our social presence as a key driver of brand awareness, cultural relevance, and community. This isn't a scheduling-and-reporting role. We want someone who can pick up a camera and shoot something great, sit in a brainstorm and pitch the idea nobody else thought of, and then turn around and grow real relationships with creators and community members who move our brand forward. You're a certified golf nerd and a student of modern culture. You don't just know golf, you obsess over it. You live at the intersection of golf, streetwear, sneakers, and fashion, and you can name-drop the designers, players, creators, and tastemakers shaping the industry right now. You know what makes a brand cool, what makes a community loyal, and how to speak to core stick-golfers and lifestyle enthusiasts alike without missing a beat. You'll partner closely with leadership to shape content strategy and bring the brand's vision to life, using high-end assets from our creative team, but just as often grabbing an iPhone yourself to capture the raw heartbeat of the brand. And you're the frontline voice of TRUE™: someone who knows that world-class customer experience starts in the DMs and comment sections, and that a great creator partnership can do more for the brand than any single campaign. This is an on-site role, no remote or hybrid applicants will be considered. RESPONSIBILITIES Creative Content & Execution Shoot, edit, and script short-form video (Reels, TikToks, Stories) that blends raw, lo-fi authenticity with premium production value. Be the 'eyes and ears' of the brand: capturing candid BTS content at photoshoots, around TRUE™ HQ, and at community events. Actively pitch and develop creative content ideas in collaboration with leadership, bringing a social-first, culturally fluent point of view to the table. Monitor and adapt trending sounds, formats, and internet moments in real time, translating them into TRUE™'s distinct voice. Blend creative instinct with performance data: know what's working and why, and use that to inform the next idea. Influencer & Creator Partnerships Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with creators, ambassadors, and influencers across golf, fashion, and lifestyle. Build and run influencer/UGC programs that extend reach and generate authentic content for the brand to reuse. Actively network with other brands, creators, and tastemakers in the golf and fashion space to build TRUE™'s standing in the culture. Negotiate and manage creator deliverables, timelines, and relationships from outreach through content delivery. Community & Social Platform Management (25%) Own day-to-day posting, content pillars, and format mix across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Threads, and emerging platforms. Manage community engagement, including DMs, comments, and mentions, with speed, empathy, and brand voice, turning scrollers into advocates. Serve as first point of contact for social-driven customer inquiries, coordinating with the customer service team to resolve issues quickly. Track key metrics (follower growth, engagement, reach, CTR, conversion) and report on what's driving performance. Testing & Optimization (10%) Run ongoing experiments on formats, posting cadence, and messaging to find scalable growth levers. Keep a pulse on competitors and industry benchmarks, sharing insights that shape future content and partnerships. DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS 3+ years in social media, content creation, or influencer marketing for a DTC, fashion, lifestyle, or sports brand. A genuine golf nerd with a sharp eye for style, sneaker culture, and lifestyle apparel. Strong hands-on portfolio: you shoot, edit, and script your own short-form video, not just direct others. Real experience building and managing creator/ambassador/influencer relationships, from outreach to negotiation to delivery. A tastemaker's eye. You know how to make casual or trending content look premium and on-brand. High-empathy communicator, comfortable owning a high-volume social inbox and customer conversations. Self-starter who's comfortable with ambiguity, moves fast, and takes ownership of both craft and results. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent hands-on experience.
