Technician Equipment Maintenance

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Technician Equipment Maintenance to join their team. As a Technician Equipment Maintenance, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Technician Equipment Maintenance

Location: Sumter, SC

What's the Job?

• Set up, operate, optimize, changeover, troubleshoot, and maintain assigned departmental production equipment during the 3rd shift (12a-8a, Mon-Fri).

• Ensure production standards are met or exceeded while maintaining product quality and minimizing equipment downtime.

• Maintain accurate equipment logs, recording downtime and maintenance issues with clear and legible handwriting.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs within your capability, assisting engineering and maintenance teams with major repairs as needed.

• Monitor in-process quality, address issues promptly, and perform all required quality control checks to prevent product holds.

What's Needed?

• Operational knowledge of equipment, including pneumatics, electrical, electronic, and hydraulics systems.

• Ability to troubleshoot, set up, and adjust equipment according to specifications and plant policies.

• Experience maintaining equipment logs and recording pertinent operational data.

• Basic understanding of tools and proper safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
