Family Medicine Opportunity

Join MercyOne Forest City Family Medicine, a busy practice with instant volume- replacement for a retiring provider! You will join a team of five APP's in a traditional outpatient family or internal medicine setting. Call is 1: 5-6 weeks. The practice offers lab, X-Ray, EKG, behavioral services, and family counseling on site. You will work with tenured RN's and experienced office staff. The practice is located 30 miles from MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center- Mason City, a 342-bed regional referral teaching hospital- named Top 100 Hospital nationally. Specialist outreach- including Ortho and Podiatry is available. Telemedicine and teleradiology are also available.

MercyOne Medical Group- North Iowa offers a $150,000 bonus package, a $300,908 2-year guaranteed base salary, up to $15,000 in moving allowance, and a full benefits package, including paid malpractice and tail coverage; benefits start day 1 of employment! The regional health system covers 15 counties, includes MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, eight critical access hospitals, and 42 clinics in northern Iowa and southern Minnesota. The network service area is approximately 260,000.

Candidates must be board certified within 3 years of becoming eligible, H1B candidates are accepted, and PSLF Eligible.

Forest City, Iowa- "Where nature is close, and friends are closer" has a population of 4,200. It is 30 min west of Mason City; 2 hours from Minneapolis and Des Moines. The community offers excellent schools, is home to Winnebago Industries, Waldorf University, and Country Thunder Music Festival, held annually in June. Qualifications: Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required. Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program; board certified or board eligible. Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges. Above average communication skills. Ability to work with a team. Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license; Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
