Millwright

We are looking to hire a skilled millwright on 1st shift, we are dedicated to providing our employees with a safe, stable workplace where teamwork, attention to detail and quality products.

A normal day as a welder will involve completes projects from blueprints to completion with minimal supervision. Possession of skills required of a project welder. Ability to layout complex pipe systems in a logical and workable manner. Must have machine shop abilities. Must have strong knowledge of acceptable practices in process piping (3A standards, GMP, FDA, requirements). Read and work from standard P and I drawings.

Duties

• Installs new systems and machines.
• Helps in the design of new systems.
• Fabricates any parts or machines that can be manufactured in house.
• Suggests and implements ideas to improve plant efficiency.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

To be considered an ideal candidate, you will possess a high school education (or equivalent) plus vocational, career, or related technical studies (tech school degree or equivalent). Must have ability to use shop mathematics, interpret complicated drawings or follow detailed and complex specifications; may need to use several precision measuring instruments, operate general purpose machines on non-repetitive work assignments, or know assembly of one or more classes of machines or machinery.
