Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Rutherfordton, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 19:00 - 07:00

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical care. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a supportive environment, collaborating effectively with the medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs.
• Provide direct patient care and assist with daily living activities.
• Perform IV and NG insertion as needed.
• Document patient care and interact with electronic health records (EHR) using Meditech.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical/surgical setting.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification is required prior to start.
