Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
• Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system
• Accurately document patient care and clinical information using EPIC EMR
• Float to other units and/or campuses as needed based on census, within demonstrated competencies only
• Participate in required orientation (every Monday) and complete all pre-assignment modules within 48 hours of receiving login credentials
• Provide every-other-weekend coverage, subject to change based on facility need

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience required; candidates with 1+ year of recent ER experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI/MAB, and TNCC
• Must reside more than 100 miles from all system facilities to be fully eligible; candidates residing 90–99.9 miles away may be considered under modified terms; candidates under 90 miles are not eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered based on overall experience
• Familiarity with Omnicell medication management systems
• Experience floating across multiple units or campuses in a large health system
