An opening shift is available for a pharmacist at a 200-bed community hospital in Jupiter, FL. This position offers an opportunity to work night shifts on a distinctive 7 days on, 7 days off schedule from 9:00 pm to 7:30 am. The assignment begins immediately and lasts approximately 13 weeks, providing consistent hours and valuable hospital experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Order verification and medication accuracy
- Supervising and guiding pharmacy technicians
- Applying pharmacokinetic principles for optimal patient care
- Consulting and collaborating with physicians and nursing staff
- Utilizing hospital IT systems such as Meditech and Pyxis for medication management
Desired qualifications:
- Active Florida pharmacist license
- Experience in a hospital inpatient pharmacy setting
- Comfortable and willing to work night shifts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
