Contract | Days | 3x12s (0630–1900) | Expected 36 hours/week | On-call responsibilities required

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinates and provides high-quality patient care utilizing the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice
• Develops, implements, and continually reassesses individualized patient plans of care, including physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs
• Administers medications and completes nursing procedures and/or treatments; accurately documents care, assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Educates patients, families, and significant others on appropriate health information in a timely manner
• Communicates and collaborates with all members of the healthcare team; delegates appropriately and oversees care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
• Participates in on-call rotation; minimum of 14 call days within a 6-week schedule, including 4 weekend days (2 weekends total), with remaining call days on regular workdays — call coverage occurs at night

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN license or Compact RN license required
• CVOR experience required
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must function consistently within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and applicable unit-specific standards of practice
• Must be willing to float as a sitter and participate in float rotation as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with holistic, ongoing patient assessments and evidence-based nursing procedures
• Familiarity with discharge planning processes and continual evaluation of patient educational needs
