Senior Trial Attorney Location: San Rafael and Aliso Viejo, CA Offices (flexible with remote, hybrid, or on-site) Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: 250k+ (depending on experience) About the Opportunity A highly regarded boutique law firm specializing in real estate litigation is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join their team. Key Responsibilities Manage litigation cases from inception through resolution, including trial or settlement. Represent clients in state and federal courts, focusing on real estate litigation matters (landlord/tenant and unlawful detainer cases). Develop case strategies, conduct legal research, and draft motions, pleadings, and contracts. Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions (ADR). Collaborate closely with partners and clients to deliver exceptional representation. Handle a variety of cases in a fast‑paced, high‑stakes litigation practice. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in California. Minimum of 8 years of litigation experience, preferably in bankruptcy, real estate, or landlord‑tenant. Strong courtroom advocacy, negotiation skills, and legal research abilities. Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines under pressure. Experience working with lenders, mortgage brokers, or business clients is a plus. Why Join Us?
