MRI Technologist

This position requires a flexible schedule: Saturday/Sunday from 8:00am to 8:00pm and Tuesday/Wednesday from 3:00pm to 11:00pm.

This is a 13-week contract position.

The MRI Technologist will perform high-quality MRI imaging on both inpatient and outpatient populations. The role involves working with various GE and Hitachi MRI equipment while ensuring patient safety and comfort, especially for those with implanted devices, including non-conditional pacemakers. The technologist must be adept at handling pediatric and sedated patients and may be required to transport patients after hours.

• Perform MRI scans using GE and Hitachi MRI systems.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
• Interact with and manage the care of pediatric and sedated patients.
• Transport patients when necessary, especially after hours.
• Document patient information and scan results accurately.

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience required.
• Valid ARRT MRI or ARMRIT certification is required.
• Must have a state or compact license in hand at the time of submittal.
