Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: OR - Operating Room \n Discipline: RN \n Start Date: ASAP \n Duration: 10 weeks \n 36 hours per week \n Shift: 12 hours, days \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n \n Unit Information: OR RN \n Facility: HCA FLORIDA KENDALL HOSPITAL \n Address: 11750 Bird Road, Miami, FL 33175 \n Floor: \n Building: Main Hospital \n Cost Center: 701 \n General Information \n Tell us about the unit(s): \n Number of Beds: 16 rooms \n Number of Staff: 53 total \n Type of Staff: Director, Charge RN, Open Heart, OR RN, surgeons, anesthesiologists, CNA's, LPN's \n o Day Shift: Director, 13 teams total, 15 RN's and 15 techs \n o Night Shift: Same as long as volume, mostly on-call, they work up on 9:30p \n Patient Ratios –1:1 2:1 3:1 \n Type of Equipment: sterile accessories, circulator, sponges, gowning, gloving, tubing, cords, cuts \n Documentation System: Meditech \n Call Requirements: \n Typical Hiring Profile \n \n Must have : (includes certifications and special skills, ex: ACLS, BLS, NIH ) \n BLS, ACLS \n Must have 2 years current experience in an acute hospital setting, not a surgical center \n Strong ortho, neuro and robotics experience, must be willing to float to general OR \n \n List Typical Procedures Performed on Unit(s): \n Robotics/Da Vinci experience and scrubbing \n Additional Preferences: (ex: previous travel experience preferred, easily adaptable to fast paced unit, can function well independently) \n Prepare operating room, arrange equipment, assist doctor's during surgeries \n Inspect, maintain, decontaminate and repair surgical equipment, keeping inventory records, pre and post-surgical repair including shaving, transporting and applying dressings \n \n Dress Code : \n Scrub Color – Color? \n Are scrubs provided? \n Awards/Recognition: Feel free to include items such as links to videos that feature the department, outstanding department/team awards, etc. \n 417 bed facility, $90 million in new upgrades, new patient tower, new 4 story parking garage and adding capacity for OR, ICU and ER beds \n Certified comprehensive Stroke Center, American Heart Gold Plus Achievement Award \n TB_RN \n ZRHC \n \n \n ORRN1\n \n TalentBurst, Inc Job ID 26-23956.
