Job Title: Interventional Technologist Profession: Interventional Technologist Specialty: Interventional Radiology Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM 4 × 10 hr shifts Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: State license required Certifications: ARRT (R) or (VI), BLS from AHA, PA fingerprints and PA child abuse clearance Must-Have: Experienced with: - Ports - PTA Plasty - Transcatheter stenting - Declot - Pulmonary angio w/declot - PTC - PCN - Permanent Vascular Catheters - PICCs - Lower Extremity Run-off with intervention Description: The role of the Interventional Technologist involves working in an interventional radiology lab. The technologist will assist in various interventional procedures. A strong background in interventional techniques and patient care is essential. Candidates must be detail-oriented and possess strong technical skills. Additionally, the ability to work collaboratively within a team is critical. Applicants should demonstrate experience with a range of interventional radiology procedures. The candidate will be required to participate in on-call rotations. A commitment to maintaining a high standard of care for patients is expected.
