Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum Qualifications Education: High School/GED preferred, but notrequired Experience: 1-3 Years Minimum in Commercial Roofing Driver’s License: Required Skills and Qualifications Successful candidatesdemonstrate: A strong commitment to safety. Problem-solving skillsand the ability to work independently when needed. Flexibility to adapt to changing jobsite conditions and priorities. What You’ll Do Install, repair, and replace commercial roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, metal, and other low-slope roofing materials. Measure, cut, and install roofing materials according to project specifications and manufacturer guidelines. Install insulation, vapor barriers, flashing, sealants, and waterproofing systems. Diagnose roof damage and perform repairs usingappropriate materialsand techniques. Safelyoperatehand tools, power tools, and roofing equipment. Load, unload, and transport roofing materials and equipment on the jobsite. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout each project. Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met. Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and PPE requirements. Work collaboratively with crew members to complete projects on schedule. Assistwith training and mentoring newer team members as experience allows. Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Demands Requires the ability to lift and carry items weighing 50 pounds. Requires the ability to stand, walk, and balance forlong periodsof time. Requires use of abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without giving out or fatiguing. Requires seeing details at close range. Requires repetitive movement, bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, stooping, or crawling Work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Work Environment Exposure to extremely bright or inadequate lighting. Working in temperatures above 90°F or below 32°F. Exposure to loud, distracting, or uncomfortable noise levels. Exposure to contaminants, hazardous materials, and potentially hazardous equipment. Working at heights and in other potentially dangerous conditions. Exposure to minor injuries such as burns, cuts, bites, or stings. Performing work where errors may have significant consequences. Strict adherence to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations isrequired.
