Manager, Sales Support

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager, Sales Support based in United States.

This role provides strategic and operational leadership that helps a large field sales organization execute effectively and consistently.
You will lead a team of Sales Support Professionals while partnering closely with sales leadership and cross-functional corporate teams.
The position combines people management, sales operations, performance reporting, process improvement, and strategic initiative execution.
You will translate business priorities and field data into practical actions that improve productivity, alignment, and performance.
Working across a complex, matrixed environment, you will help coordinate launches, training, territory initiatives, and evolving sales processes.
The role offers significant visibility with senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence how field teams operate at scale.

Accountabilities

• Lead a team of Sales Support Professionals, including recruiting, onboarding, coaching, performance management, career development, and goal setting.

• Serve as a key point of contact for field execution of strategic sales initiatives, channel programs, product launches, training deployments, and other business priorities.

• Guide field teams through operational workflows, resolve execution challenges, and escalate issues when appropriate.

• Support the deployment of channel initiatives designed to strengthen regional sales performance and field productivity.

• Lead sales operations activities including territory alignment, resource allocation, performance tracking, reporting, and forecasting.

• Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations that provide sales leadership with clear visibility into performance, trends, opportunities, and risks.

• Analyze in-market data and translate findings into actionable recommendations for sales and operational teams.

• Standardize and improve processes to promote consistent, efficient, and scalable field execution.

• Partner with Marketing, Compliance, Sales Training, Product, Reporting & Analytics, HR, and other corporate functions to align priorities and execution.

• Act as a liaison between corporate teams, field sales leadership, internal channel stakeholders, and external vendors or agencies when required.

• Establish team objectives, monitor performance metrics, reinforce accountability, and foster a culture of engagement and continuous improvement.

• Support sales transformation, go-to-market initiatives, and other strategic projects as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales operations, field sales support, sales strategy, or a related function.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in people leadership or management.

• Strong organizational, project management, prioritization, and execution skills.

• Demonstrated ability to use data and performance insights to support business decisions and identify opportunities or risks.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Power BI.

• Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.

• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results within a complex, fast-paced environment.

• Experience collaborating across matrixed organizations and coordinating initiatives involving multiple business functions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Experience in healthcare or insurance sales is preferred.

• Experience with change management, process improvement, sales transformation, or go-to-market initiatives is a plus.

• Ability to work independently from a dedicated home workspace while maintaining appropriate protections for confidential and regulated information.

• Salary: $94,900–$130,500 per year, with individual compensation determined by factors including location, skills, experience, education, and certifications.
