Job Description: Join our team as a Labor & Delivery RN in Fort Defiance, Arizona, for a rewarding 16-week travel contract. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in the Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn units, including working in the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI). You'll be assisting with an average of 40 deliveries and 6 C-sections per month, with opportunities to step into charge nurse duties after training. The 12-hour day shifts offer a dynamic environment where your expertise can truly shine, sometimes requiring you to float to other departments as needed. If you have at least five years of recent experience in labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care, and hold current certifications like ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN FHM (or RNC-EFM), this assignment is tailored for you.
