Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking an Inpatient Rehab RN for a 13-week night shift assignment. This role requires providing specialized care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, with potential to float to different units as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide quality nursing care to patients on the inpatient rehabilitation unit during night shifts.
• Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and implement appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment and recovery.
• Ensure compliance with facility protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Document patient progress, treatments, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
• Adhere to infection control policies, including COVID patient care and drug screening procedures.

Qualifications:

• Maintain a valid RN license in the state of employment.
• Hold current BLS certification.
• Possess relevant experience with inpatient rehabilitative care.
• Be willing to float to other units based on census and acuity.
• Have the ability to care for COVID patients if needed, with medical documentation if necessary.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Allscripts/Sunrise documentation systems (preferred but not required).
