Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 5:30 AM – 7:00 PM | Every other weekend and holidays in rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in an active operating room environment with a 1:1 patient ratio across 10 operating rooms
• Perform and assist with complex surgical procedures including kidney transplants, liver transplants, neurosurgical cases, and orthopedic cases
• Collaborate with surgical team members including Certified Surgical Technologists (CSTs) to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Work independently and effectively under high-pressure, fast-paced surgical conditions
• Adhere to facility scheduling policies, including weekend and holiday rotation

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Florida or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience
• Demonstrated experience with transplant procedures (kidney and/or liver)
• Orthopedic surgical case experience
• Neurosurgical case experience
• Ability to work independently and perform well in high-stress environments

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with kidney and liver transplant cases in a high-volume surgical setting
• Broad orthopedic and neurosurgical scrub or circulating experience
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
