Aurum Wireless is hiring a competitive, hands-on Store Lead to manage our wireless sales program inside a high-traffic Walmart location.

This is not a traditional phone-store management position. There is no large staff, permanent storefront or complicated inventory operation. You will lead two Mobility Experts while remaining actively involved in selling, coaching and building the location.

The right candidate will be comfortable approaching customers, leading from the front and holding a small team accountable. Strong Store Leads will have a direct advancement path into Multi-Unit Leadership and Market Director positions as Aurum opens additional locations.

Compensation

• Salary starting at $3200/month
• Uncapped performance-based earning potential

Schedule

Our stores operate five days per week and are closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

• Full-time schedule
• Thursday through Monday
• Nine-hour operating day
• Weekend availability required
• Store Lead works the complete operating day
• Daily leadership and company meetings
• Consistent weekly schedule

What You’ll Do

Lead the Store

• Manage the daily operation of one Aurum Wireless retail location
• Lead, coach and hold 2-4 Mobility Experts accountable
• Establish daily sales goals and activity expectations
• Conduct shift handoffs and performance check-ins
• Maintain accurate attendance, scheduling and performance records
• Create an energetic, professional and competitive store culture
• Participate in daily leadership meetings with Aurum management

Sell Alongside Your Team

• Proactively approach and engage customers inside the store
• Identify customers who may benefit from available wireless promotions
• Explain AT&T or Verizon offers, depending on location
• Recommend wireless plans, devices and connected products
• Complete customer qualifications and activations
• Clearly explain trade-ins, promotional credits and first-bill expectations
• Maintain strong personal sales production
• Lead by example instead of managing from the sidelines

Protect the Customer Experience

• Enforce Aurum’s Respectful Engagement Standard
• Ensure representatives never follow, pressure or interfere with customers
• Review completed sales for accuracy and compliance
• Conduct customer rehashes to confirm expectations
• Monitor cancellations, chargebacks and activation quality
• Maintain a professional relationship with Walmart store leadership
• Resolve customer and store-partner concerns quickly

Previous wireless, retail, hospitality, fundraising, canvassing, customer-service or commission-sales experience is REQUIRED

Aurum Wireless is a Minnesota-based authorized sales organization representing AT&T and Verizon. We operate professionally staffed wireless sales programs inside national and regional retail locations.

We provide the carrier relationships, systems, equipment, training and support. Our Store Leads build the team, establish the culture and drive the performance of their location.

This position is employed by Aurum Wireless and is not a Walmart employment position.
