Founding Product Designer

Define how consequential decisions look, feel, and read across Orcher and the Dipp AI brand.

You will own design at Dipp AI: the product surfaces where people approve or refuse autonomous action, the diagrams that explain a control plane to a board, and the visual identity that carries both.

The product problem is density with clarity — approval queues, ledgers, routing views, and policy authoring that stay legible under stress. The brand problem is credibility — futuristic and restrained, never generic SaaS.

This is a founding design role with real scope and no design organisation to hide behind.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end product design for Orcher's operator and administrative surfaces.
• Build and maintain the design system in partnership with product engineering.
• Design the explanatory diagrams and figures used in research volumes and enterprise conversations.
• Steward the brand across product, site, and published material.
• Run lightweight research with design-partner operators and fold findings back in.
• Set the accessibility and interaction standards the team builds to.

What we look for

• A portfolio of complex, data-dense product work — not marketing pages alone.
• Strong systems thinking about components, states, and interaction patterns.
• Ability to prototype in code or to work fluently in the codebase's idioms.
• Typographic and information-design skill strong enough to carry technical diagrams.
• Comfort designing for expert users under time pressure.
• Ability to argue for a design decision and to abandon it on evidence.

Experience

• 7+ years in product design, including enterprise or technical tooling.
• Has owned design for a product from early stage through enterprise adoption.
• Brand and identity experience alongside product work is a strong plus.

Education

• Degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or an equivalent body of professional work.
• Portfolio weighs far more than credentials in this evaluation.
