Medical Lab Technologist

Job Description Prolink is looking for an MLT to take a 13‑week assignment in Hilo, Hawaii! *high volume lab* 3 years experience required, blood bank experience required. The Medical Technologist (MT), also known as the Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), performs routine and complex analytical tests on human body fluids and tissues to provide accurate data to the health care team for optimal diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of disease states. The MT/MLS is capable of performing all of the tests in a single section or most of the tests in all clinical laboratory sections: bacteriology, immunohematology, chemistry, hematology, parasitology, serology and urinalysis. Shift: mostly AM/Evening rotation (will sometimes cover PM shifts) (can start between 5‑8a), EVE (starts at 2p) 40 hours per week. Start date: 8/19 Will interview with manager—can clarify the shift/call schedule, RTO from manager in interview directly to avoid any confusion. They utilize Roche Chemistry analyzers, Sysmex hematology analyzers, Roche immunoassay, Biorad blood bank and Stago coag. Our LIS is Sunquest. PAY: Weekly Gross Pay $2,389 Base Pay Rate $20.00 Overtime Pay Rate $30.00 Tax Free Stipend $1,589 Applicants may apply for their Hawaii certifications by paper or online.
