Get to Know Your Team:

• Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.

The  Rehabilitation Aide s upports clinical staff in care delivery by preparing the treatment area, patient, equipment, and materials; performing procedures under supervision. They are also responsible for monitoring  materials and  provisions and informing the m anager of ordering needs.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

• Demonstrates familiarity with the shared governance model and performance improvement.

• Demonstrates respectful and effective communication with patients, families, and colleagues.

• Develops an emerging awareness of ethical issues and how they relate to clinical practice.

• Demonstrates applied knowledge base in areas of policies, procedures, standards of care, and medications by utilizing HackensackUMC@ Pascack Valley.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience.

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education , and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
