Project Finance Associate (Washington DC-Baltimore Area)

Overview

We are seeking a Project Finance professional with strong financial modeling and analytical skills to support energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain project finance models, including cash flow, debt, returns, sensitivities, and scenarios.
• Analyze project economics, budgets, financing requirements, and investment returns.
• Support project financing, financial structuring, due diligence, and investment analysis.
• Work with Finance, Engineering, Legal, lenders, and investors to validate project assumptions and financial inputs.
• Prepare financial analysis, forecasts, presentations, and reports for senior leadership.
• Assist with project valuation and review financing assumptions throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in Project Finance, financial analysis, or financial modeling.
• Renewable energy/solar or nuclear industry experience is required.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Experience with debt financing, tax equity, project valuation, or investment analysis is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
