Nurse Manager - General Surgery

Role: Clinical Nurse Manager for General Surgery, responsible for overseeing daily operations of a busy surgical unit. Key Responsibilities Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based patient care. Manage staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation to maintain efficient unit operations. Drive quality improvement and patient safety initiatives to enhance care standards. Collaborate with surgeons and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care. Foster an inclusive, supportive work environment and promote professional development. Support continuous improvement and innovative, community-focused care practices. Qualifications & Skills Leadership experience in a clinical setting, preferably in surgical or acute care units. Strong communication, team-building, and mentoring abilities. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality standards, and budget management.
