As a member of our Palliative Care team, you will:

• Provide expert palliative care consultations for patients with serious and complex illnesses
• Partner with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to align care plans with patient goals and values
• Support symptom management, advance care planning, and shared decision-making
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and other healthcare professionals

Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner who is:

• Passionate about caring for patients with serious illness
• Skilled in communication, symptom management, and goals-of-care conversations
• A strong collaborator who thrives in an interdisciplinary environment
• Committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Current Nurse Practitioner certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP), Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure and certification in the state of Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in palliative care, hospice, oncology, geriatrics, critical care, or another related specialty is highly valued
• Experience supporting patients and families through complex medical decisions and advance care planning is preferred
