About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 5 years required License: Valid State License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Previous charge experience required - Epic charting system experience preferred - Trauma Level II experience required - Travel experience required Description: ER RN needed. Every other weekend required. Five years of experience is required as per the manager. Patient ratio during days is 4. Patient ratio during nights is 4. Patient ratio on weekends is 4. Float required is none. Weekend coverage is true. Number of weekend shifts per contract is 3 per week. Pre-approved time off is not available. Daily census ranges from 50 to 70 patients. Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Specific skills required include: - BiPAP/CPAP management - Care of ventilated patients - Central line care/management - Continuous IV sedation - Emergency medications - Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs) - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Isolation precautions/PPE - IV vasopressors - Management of dysrhythmias - Procedural sedation administration/monitoring - Triage Candidates must provide accurate work history information for the past 7 years. They may also be required to provide documentation or contacts for verification if needed. Modules related to training and orientation are included in the contract. Any time spent exceeding the set module hours will be billable.
