Licensed Vocational Nurse – Nursing

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Weeks: 8
• Guaranteed Hours: 48.00

Requirements:

• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification: Required
• Arrhythmia certification: Preferred
• At least two years recent experience in the field

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for assigned patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) according to established standards and nursing processes.
• Perform admission assessments and ongoing re-assessments based on departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist in the development of a prioritized interdisciplinary plan of care for each patient.
• Implement and coordinate the plan of care utilizing appropriate organizational skills.
• Perform assigned clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, injections, and drug screens.
• Administer medications and manage the ordering and restocking of supplies as assigned.
