Mammography Technologist II

Role Overview: The Mammography Tech 2 performs advanced breast imaging procedures under radiologist supervision, supporting diagnostic services in a growing healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct high-quality breast imaging exams including stereotactic biopsies, ultrasound-guided biopsies, and needle localizations. Communicate effectively with patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety. Prepare patients and equipment, position patients correctly, and follow safety and infection-control protocols. Maintain equipment, supplies, and documentation per department standards. Screen individuals entering the department to ensure safety and compliance. Assist in maintaining a sterile environment and uphold quality standards. Serve as a resource for training new team members and support continuous improvement. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited program with at least 2 years of experience. Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT). Registered with ARRT in radiography (ARRT-R) and mammography (ARRT-M). Current BLS certification.
