About the Role
BrightStar Care is seeking a Director of Sales to help grow our Houston / Pasadena-area home care office. This is a hands-on leadership role for a successful healthcare sales or business development professional who is ready to lead a small sales team and help build the sales function for a growing office.
This role is ideal for someone who has been successful as a Business Development Manager, Healthcare Sales Representative, Community Liaison, Account Executive, or Sales Manager and is ready to take the next step into sales leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and support a small sales team across inside and outside sales.
- Build referral relationships with hospitals, rehab centers, senior living communities, physicians, clinics, case managers, and eldercare professionals.
- Partner with the owner on local marketing, referral campaigns, community outreach, and brand awareness.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Houston / Pasadena market.
- Track sales activity, referral sources, pipeline progress, and revenue opportunities.
- Attend networking events, community events, and professional meetings to promote BrightStar Care.
- Work with operations to ensure clients and referral partners receive a strong experience.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of successful sales, business development, account management, or referral development experience.
- Experience in home care, home health, senior care, hospice, medical staffing, senior living, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
- Proven ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close business.
- Experience coaching, mentoring, or leading others preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, follow-up, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable traveling locally throughout the Houston / Pasadena / Hobby area.
- Must have a reliable car
- Must pass a Drug Test and Background screening
- Must have prior experience with MS Office and MS Excel
- Prefer experience with Hubspot
