Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing in-depth patient evaluations, requesting diagnostic tests, and creating customized care strategies
• Identifying and treating acute, chronic, or episodic health issues in collaboration with physicians or independently (depending on credentials)
• Instructing patients and their families about prevention, health promotion, and management of diseases
• Prescribing medications and therapies adhering to scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care
• Adding value to interdisciplinary teams to guarantee cohesive, comprehensive care
• Meticulously documenting within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications and Prerequisites

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in Ohio
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or relevant specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within three months)
