The facility is a 95-bed acute care facility. It provides inpatient and outpatient services. The RN will be responsible for managing a patient population that includes geriatric and adult patients. There may be some pediatric patients, but they are infrequent. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:5. Staff will rotate every other weekend. Call requirements may apply depending on census. Floating to other departments may be required based on patient needs. The unit is equipped with modern technology and monitoring equipment. The electronic health record system used is Medhost. Professional appearance is expected; scrubs should be plain and not printed. All clinical staff must comply with state regulations regarding abuse registry checks prior to the start date.
