Here's your opportunity to join an amazing family‑owned business that has been around for nearly 100 years! What You’ll Do Pre‑trip inspection of the ready‑mix truck pursuant to D.O.T. regulations. Fill the water tank before each delivery by placing a rubber hose into the tank and ensuring all valves are shut. Receive the delivery ticket and drive or back the truck into the plant (depending on plant configuration) to charge the mixer and receive concrete. Safely drive the truck to the job site, arriving with the desired slump within customer or job specifications. Maneuver the truck on unstable ground conditions and observe customer equipment and site conditions. Add necessary ingredients (fibers, chemical/fabric admixtures, cements, or integral colors) at plant or job site. Place and discharge chutes from fender or hanging rack onto the main chute at the rear of the truck, and wash them after discharge. Complete all paperwork and collect payments before leaving the job site. Wash the truck with a hose and brush, using cleaning solution when required. Communicate with dispatch via two‑way radio and the truck status signaling system. Complete shift paperwork, post‑trip inspection, and secure cash COD in a locked box. Maintain effective working relationships with company employees, suppliers, and customers, and resolve problems promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager. Qualifications and Requirements Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A or B. Successful completion of a Federal Department of Transportation drug screen, physical, and DOT Medical Card. Ability to safely operate a truck and carry out tasks in accordance with company policy, state, and federal laws. Pay & Benefits Pay: $29.70 – $33.00 per hour. Medical Insurance. Dental Insurance.
