Senior Special Inspector- Part-Time Flex

Senior Special Inspector – Part‑Time Flex Verdantas is seeking an experienced Special Inspector to provide field and laboratory inspection services for Materials Testing, Geotechnical and Environmental Consulting projects. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, specifications and current code requirements. Perform inspections and evaluate compliance with industry standards and regulations. Maintain accurate, complete files of field and laboratory data, daily reports, letters, RFIs, and other pertinent documentation. Communicate clearly with Project Manager and client representatives. Provide documentation and quality assurance for inspections. Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of inspection experience in construction. Valid driver’s license and good driving record. Strong verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude, good organizational skills, consistent responsiveness, strong work ethic. Knowledge of construction inspection standards and related code requirements. Preferred certifications: AWS/CWI Welding, ICC and/or DSA Masonry, ICC Fireproofing, ICC Reinforced Concrete, ICC Pre‑Stressed Concrete, ICC Soils, ICC Structural Steel Bolting (S1), and/or NDT Level II. Compensation Hourly rate: $43.53 – $61.56. Benefits Flexible work environment, 401(k) with company match.
