Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech

Job Overview Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi‑disciplinary team where you’ll be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operating radiation detection and imaging equipment. Minimum Requirements Associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology. State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine. BLS certification. 2 years of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist. Experience preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals orally, by injection, or by inhalation and maintaining accurate records of radiopharmaceutical use (client‑specific requirement). Experience operating SPECT/CT scanners and processing diagnostic images of brain, thyroid, bone, cardiac, pulmonary, renal, and hepatic studies (client‑specific requirement). Familiarity with electronic health record systems; experience with Radiant or Epic access is preferred. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital. Shift name: Days. Shift type: Day Shift. Start: 04/19/2026. Assignment length: 13 weeks. Role responsibilities: preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating SPECT/CT scanners, positioning patients, processing diagnostic images, and keeping detailed procedure records.
