Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT CI, ARRT R, ARRT VI, CCI RCES, CCI RCIS, CET, Fluoro Permit

Must-Have: Experienced in left/right heart cath, PCI, and peripheral procedures; travel experience strongly preferred; call required, averaging 12-15 days a month; weekends are call-only, averaging 1 weekend per month

Description: Start date within the next 3-5 weeks. Hours could slightly vary based on patient scheduling. Previous charge experience is not required. Patient ratio experience is not specified. Charting system experience is required. Requires experience with the community hospital charting system. Job responsibilities include accurate monitoring, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, equipment set up, and fluoroscopy. Involves hemodynamic monitoring, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, inventory, and performing various catheterization procedures. Requires knowledge in maintaining sterile technique, stocking supplies, and utilizing vascular closure systems. Ability to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and effectively utilize rapid response/code teams is essential. Additional duties may include performing EKG lead placement and temporary pacemaker insertion. Candidates should be proficient in using ultrasound and other specialized medical equipment. Experience in working with adult and geriatric patient age groups is preferred. Expected daily census is approximately 20 patients. Interdisciplinary support is available within the unit. Strict adherence to clinical drug screening policies is required. Full compliance with required certifications and experience within the service line is mandatory.
