Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

Coverage Needed :
- Start Date: 7/26/2026
- Schedule: 7 on / 7 off, Monday-Sunday (7a-7p) with night call (2-3 days)
Clinical Details :
- Coverage: Consults, new admissions, discharges, emergencies
- Support Staff: 1 Psychiatrist and 1 MHNP
- Number of Beds: 25
- Census: 20, approximately
- Average Length of Stay: 10 days
- Number of Patients Rounding on Per Day: 10-14
- Number of Patients Admitting Per Day: 2-3
- Number of Patients Discharging Per Day: 2-3
- Providers participate in a consult rotation, can expect to be on 1 or 2 days per week
- 1-2 per day average
- H&Ps are done by Family Practice providers
- Typical Cases: 13-17 year olds with primary psychiatric diagnoses; mostly depression w/SI, some mania/mood dysregulation, and occasional early onset psychosis
- Patient Volume: 7
- EMR: Meditech
Requirements :
- Board Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
