Status: 260 Days/yr - Starting Hourly Rate $16.34 per hour, plus $0.50/hr shift differential.

Reports to: Principal/Assistant Principal/Custodial Supervisor

Schedule 8 hours per day, Monday - Friday. Second shift hours are 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Custodian to maintain our school facilities and ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain all school buildings, ensuring a clean and orderly condition by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming bathrooms according to District standards within the shift.
Responsible for cleaning and stocking bathroom.
Responsible for the proper usage of all cleaning chemicals and industrial cleaning equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Custodian or Head Custodian.

Qualifications

High school diploma necessary
Knowledge and understanding of various cleaning chemicals is necessary; 1-2 years experience in custodial services and/or in a school district setting is preferred
Ability to lift and/or carry supplies weighing no more than 80 lbs. Lifting, pulling, pushing up to 100 pounds occasionally, required to work in the elements during the weather assisting in snow removal.
