Travel Surgical Technologist – Bronx, New York Position Details Specialty: Surgical Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/15/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 Shift: 9 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Description As an operating room tech (ORT), you will assist with surgical operations before, during, and after procedures. Duties include prepping the OR and surgical tools, helping nurses and surgeons scrub in, maintaining sterile conditions, assisting with instruments during surgery, cleaning the OR post‑surgery, and transporting patients to and from surgery. You play a critical role in preventing illness, providing support, and promoting health and wellness for patients and families.
