• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; LVAD preferred (2W)
• Pay Rate: $50.25/hour

What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care to Cardiac Stepdown and Medical Stepdown patients
• Titrate cardiac, insulin, and vasopressor drips (e.g., Esmolol, Cardene, Nitro, etc.)
• Manage and monitor IVs, chest tubes, traches, central lines, drains, and wound care
• Obtain and interpret EKGs; complete competency exams prior to start
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including CNAs, RTs, and hospitalists
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Adhere to safety, compliance, and infection control protocols
• Support diverse patient population with complex medical needs

What You Need

• Required: Valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, at least 2 years of acute care RN experience, proficiency in EKG interpretation, skills managing cardiac drips and complex patient care
• Preferred: LVAD certification, experience with cardiac procedures and telemetry management
• Key Skills: Cardiac and medical patient care, titrating IV medications, managing drains and lines, effective communication, teamwork
