Registered Nurse ICU

Position Summary Employment Type: Full time. Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift. Description: This is a FT Critical Care RN position. The RN will float between the critical care unit and the medical-surgical unit, providing comprehensive care during night shifts. Responsibilities The RN will: Provide nursing care to patients in 8 MICU beds and 8 Med-Surg beds, managing conditions such as sepsis, acute respiratory failure, post-cardiac arrest, liver failure, and GI bleeds. Float between critical care and medical-surgical units as needed. Collaborate with a Clinical Nurse Specialist, assistant manager, and interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care. Support team-focused, collaborative environment and contribute to continuous learning and quality improvement. Qualifications Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing (BSN or ADN) required. BLS certification (American Heart Association) required prior to hire. Illinois Board of Nursing license required prior to hire. Hospital experience preferred. Compensation & Benefits Competitive shift differentials, including charge and preceptor pay.
