Submit your application for the opportunity below: Paramedic The Paramedic performs direct patient care within the scope of the Texas Paramedic/EMT Practice Act, and utilizes therapeutic communication in daily practice. The Paramedic also maintains a safe and therapeutic environment, and identifies nursing problems as they relate to the individual needs of the patient. He/she participates in performance improvement activities to assure continuous quality improvement, and provides care and coordinates participation that fosters the goals of the hospital’s mission statement.
