How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Deliver high-quality vascular diagnostic procedures to assess peripheral vascular disease, ensuring exceptional patient care within a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma Hospital.
• Coordinate direct patient care and safety by monitoring clinical responses during exams and immediately alerting physicians to any critical physiological changes.
• Execute precise clinical documentation and image transmission to PACS and Electronic Health Records (EHR) for seamless interdisciplinary team review.
• Maintain strict quality improvement standards by verifying equipment functionality and ensuring full compliance with healthcare regulatory agency guidelines.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team as a dedicated Vascular Tech to optimize department workflows and support superior clinical outcomes.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Cardiographic Tech specializing in Vascular Interpretation credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
  degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• 2 years of Vascular Tech experience in an inpatient setting
