The Line Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality menu items in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant environment. This role ensures food is cooked to recipe specifications, presented consistently, and prepared safely while maintaining a clean and organized workstation. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, plating standards, and ticket times Set up and stock assigned stations with necessary supplies and ingredients Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation standards Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Communicate clearly with kitchen team members and front-of-house staff Assist with prep work, inventory rotation, and labeling Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards Support team during peak service periods and maintain a positive attitude Qualifications & Skills Previous pastry, baking experience preferred Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred (full-service restaurant experience a plus) Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong attention to detail and time management Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Team-oriented mindset with strong work ethic Schedule & Availability Morning availability needed.
