Location: Gratiot, OH | Schedule: Full-time, on-site (varied shifts with rotating weekends and holidays) | Compensation: $18.50hr-$25.00ht per year depending on experience Overview A top-ranked hospital in a rural east central Ohio community, within reach of a nearby city, is seeking a Certified Equipment Processing Tech to join its Central Service team. This role is essential to ensuring instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and ready to support high-quality patient care. What you'll do Clean, disinfect, and terminally sterilize instruments and equipment Maintain knowledge of the function, operation, and maintenance of instrumentation and equipment used for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures Accurately assemble all components of trays used within area of responsibility Keep the equipment coordinator informed of any problems or suspected problems with equipment and instruments in the assigned area Use various sterilization processes, including steam, Sterrad, and Steris Maintain event-related sterility according to procedure Demonstrate understanding of the decontamination and sterilization process for instruments and equipment used throughout the hospital Demonstrate understanding of instruments and instrument trays used daily and their maintenance Correctly use the hospital's instrument tracking system in each area Report to the Central Service Manager Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Certified in Sterile Processing and Distribution, or obtain certification within two years of employment Knowledgeable of medical terminology Compensation and benefits Full time position with varied shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays Pay range of $18.50hr-$25.00ht per year depending on experience Full benefits package including Medical, Dental, Life, and PTO Relocation assistance Why this role This is an opportunity to join a collaborative healthcare team in a beautiful rural setting close enough to a big city, delivering high-quality care to the community while working under a well-respected Central Service Manager. #J-18808-Ljbffr Software Placement Group
